You may have noticed our server tag line As vanilla as we can make it! What exactly do we mean by this?

Here's the TL/DR: We have to make some changes to the game when running a public server. Most players are great, but there are some real jerks out there who like to trash other people's stuff. Other changes are made to make things like sleeping work more like they do on a small 'friends' server. We try to deliver an experience that is safe, fun, and is as much like Minecraft comes "out of the box" as possible.
